Business Factors is one of those clients that everyone dreams of. Easy to work with, receptive to ideas and timely with communications and feedback. When the company CEO reached out for website improvements, I was tasked with reviewing the website at the time. Two considerations came to mind, ADA compliance and the various intake forms in use across the website. After discussing these findings with the CEO, we agreed to move forward with the project.
Starting off with the state of accessibility on the website, I ran a report to get clear understanding of what could be fixed and enhanced. While there were numerous errors and contrast issues, such was corrected in a manner of a few days. The owner approved the changes immediately and gave positive feedback. Upon approval of the ADA compliance changes, I updated the public facing website.
The intake forms in use were essentially duplicates of one another with one small difference. In this case, the recipient of each form was different. Since each intake form was built with Gravity Forms, I suggested a "e;one form to rule them all"e; approach. This would allow for a single form to be used across the website while respecting the recipient of the form. The CEO agreed and I set to work on creating the new form. Once the form was created, I replaced the existing forms with the new form.
